Unlocking Potential Providing Opportunities Achieving Goals

SATS Tests

What is a SAT test?
It is a national test done by all of the children in the country at the end of the key stage. They are taken in English, Maths and Science and show what pupils have learnt and retained during the year.

Can my child fail a SATs test?
No! It is not a pass/fail test – it simply shows what a child knows and what they still need to learn.

What are the children tested on?
The children are tested on all of the work they have covered in all year groups so far. The tests are taken in English, Maths and Science and are supported by teacher assessments of the work the children have done through the year.
